Understanding hotel group cancellation damages

This hotel group cancellation calculator adds nightly sleeping-room revenue and other contracted charges, then applies the cancellation percentage entered for each category. Each taxable category uses its own tax rate.

The default percentage fills every category until you override a line. “Use default” restores that link. Days until arrival are provided for reference; the calculator never selects a sliding-scale percentage. Charges and taxes round HALF-UP to cents per category, and totals sum those displayed amounts.

Check your contract for the applicable cancellation percentages, contracted amounts, and tax treatment. Enter those assumptions yourself. This tool does not read or interpret contracts.
